My name is Joseph Guterding, and I am the founder of The Compounding Co.

I founded The Compounding Co. with a simple mission: to help young professionals build long-term wealth through structured planning, disciplined investing, and strategies designed to compound over decades.

I graduated from St. John’s University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. I have passed the Series 65, and The Compounding Co. is a Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) in both New York and Florida. As a fiduciary, I am legally required to act in the best interest of my clients at all times.

My investment philosophy is simple: build a diversified portfolio, keep costs low, stay disciplined, and allow time to do the heavy lifting. I focus on long-term ETF investing and structured account strategy rather than speculation, active trading, or unnecessary complexity.
